AMI Location

In my 8P S3 my AMI is in the glovebox and my iPod stays in there connected all the time. I have not moved it from there for about 18 months.

AFAIK the AMI connection is in the armrest on the 8V? So this means i wont be able to keep my iPod connected all the time as it would be a security risk as it could be seen through the window of the car. Is it possible to hide it away while connected?

Yeh, you can raise the armrest so it might be seen then, but it's easy enough to close it all the way so it completely covers the gap below it

If you are really worried though, could always make some kind of 'fake' floor for the armrest that sits on top of your ipod, then all that would be seen (if you looked very hard) is the end of a wire disappearing off into the 'floor' and nothing else
