Audi A3 2.0 TDI remap?

Hi guys,

I have a 2005 2.0 TDI A3 with 158,000 miles on the clock.

Looking at getting it mapped and wondered what everyone’s experience with mapping is like? Any clutch slipping etc? I was once told that the 2.0 engines are more than capable of the power but it’s more the clutch you have to look out for.

any responses would be appreciated!

At 158k, yeah its a concern, dsg boxes handle remaps better, manual yes clutch slip is a concern, you could ask the mapper to tone down the torque a little to save the clutch if thats your concern, upto you tbh.
