Any advice on the following would be much appreciated. Have a 2015 A6 C7 2.0D ultra had some work done at local garage for mot and brake sensor faulty, all sorted fine. I did have the engine management light on also that I wanted investigating, he found this to be the DPF blocked, he did a regen and light went off, though within a day or so the light had come back on. Mechanic did another scan says its a different fault to before and is showing as fault code P2002, he seems to think it may be the egr cooler (he googled this) he's not an Audi specialist and isn't too keen on doing it though said he'll drop me someones number.

Ive googled the fault code myself and it seems to be egr cooler or the dpf that people have mentioned. Anyone had this fault themselves and managed to sort?

Does anyone know a good Audi specialist round Manchester you've used? Rather avoid main dealer prices!
Theres one close to me in sale but heard mixed things, mate had a Q7 in with them and they took the pee a bit from what I can gather.

One last thing, I see a lot have people seem to have they're own VCDs/Diagnostic kits, am I right in thinking VCDS is just windows based and run via a laptop with usb to special plug into the car? Could I force a regen on the dpf and stuff like that myself then. Don't wanna spend a fortune or get too technical with it but any advice on what's best appreciated.

Hi Kizz,

Just wondering if you ever got this issue sorted and what the fix was?

hi mate first id try the dpf pressure sensor with a new one and have that adapted via vcds its on top of engine left hand side near bulk head! then get a regen done after fitting and adapting its around 25 pounds and make sure you buy from audi or tps so its genuine!

Hello
is it possible to lock the mmi buttons on the Audi A6 C7 in the green menu?
It happened to me.

P2002 code is usually insufficient flow, this is the EGR cooler - expensive to replace, parts aren’t cheap, but the the labour is his due to its location.
A more cost effective fix, have it remapped, with the EGR mapped out, then fit a blank on the exhaust manifold
two genuine gaskets, the blank, two genuine new blots will not be alot - sub £30 and the alittle labour to fit, aprox 1/2 hour .

Hi, I'm also having this same issue with my car and considered the EGR delete but wouldn't it also require the DPF to me removed/modified to avoid blocking or am I mistaken in that.

You do NOT need to delete the DPF - EGR blank on the exhaust manifold feed to the EGR and have it remapped accordingly - the car will run fine.
if anything, it’ll be slightly better for the DPF as it’ll run slightly warmer exhaust gas temps without the EGR thus keeping the spot level down

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't suppose you have any recommendations on where to get a decent blank etc.
