So i was just reading this statement.

The RS3 sounds much like a Lamborghini V10 — the 2.5-litre in-line five cylinder is one half of the 5.0-litre V10 in the latest Huracan.

Is this what it says? As in cut the v10 in half and there you go sir (without turbos etc)

When i went to MB and looked at the CLA45 AMG the stealer told me the engine was part of the 6.2 in the bigger cars.

It's not derived from the Lambo V10. But the 5-pot firing order does give a similar sound to a V10 yes.

Im not stupid when it comes to cars at all and i do know a little bit about it all but just since the dealer told me something similar with the AMG then reading this made me think they maybe use the same head, pistons etc with new bottom end.

If i didn't ask it someone else would of

Someone once told me that the v8 in the S5 was a detuned version of the RS5 one but it isn't of course ;)

TX.

The CLA/A45 Statement is true though, the new 4.0 twin turbo in the C63s is more or less two A45 engines bolted together
