Starter motor ?

Has any one with a 2.0 tdi ever had the starter motor die without warning?
Went to start my car this morning and everything lights up all electrics work turn the ignition and absolutely nothing.
The battery is good.

I'd check battery is fully charged

I can confirm a starter motor can just pack up without warning and leave the car absolutely lifeless.
Just bump started it fine so off to garage next week for new starter motor.
Any ideas of costs fitted?

No idea but interested myself

I think my starter is beginning to 'stick'

New Bosch battery in it so that's not the problem.
