Wireless charging retro-fit 8P

I recently installed wireless charging into my 8P while I was removing the ashtray, I thought I would show the forum as I have not seen any topics on fitting wireless charging to a 8P
I made it look as original as possible by wiring it into the cigarettes lighter directly so there are no wires around, also hiding the pad under the storage tray facia , if anyone is interested in how I installed it and wired it up let me know I could make a post on how I done it in my application anyways here is it.




(i need to make something to keep the phone from sliding while moving however parked works fine.)

Just place the liner down in your drawer or cabinet and trim off any excess material. As a quick tip, any excess liner pieces are great for opening jars. These can also work great for a slipping futon, couch cushions, or mattresses.

You can buy wireless charging pcbs that use usb to power, then cable this to a usb socket or adapter to 12v supply, sit the pcb under the rubber part, they're quite slimline so shouldn't be proud so to speak.
