so I'm looking to improve my breaking a bit and not really sure if I wanna go the hole big brake route ,has anyone got any experience of tarox? Any probs warping etc? Other option would be m-tech disks and strada pads ,or yellow racing company front big brakes but there pricey just for the fronts ,any thoughts?

Big brakes every time , had Tarox Japan Sport in the past , no probs .

Interestingly my tuner has advised Tarox pads to replace the EBC Yellowstuff that are now worn out in my Forge BBK ...

I have the S3 foront brakes setup with Tarox F2000 discks for 3 years already. Very good disks. You would also need some good pads to get the best out of them and, maybe, some new lines. I went for HEL and some Castrol SRF fluid.

Intresting wonder if I could sell my standard s3 front brake set up and make the difference up from tarox to the yellow racing set up

If you have the money then go AP or Alcon.

But book ahead....I've just been quoted a 6-8 week lead time for the AP kit I now need.

How much are the ap and Alcon???

Well....that's the problem.

AP come in at £2.5k and Alcon even more.
The thing for me is that the AP stuff I've used before,on my old GpN Escort Cosworth, and that was doing with a 4pot system, what some others seem to need up to 10 pots to achieve.

That's some serious cash and tbh I don't think I will ever get my s3 to your level so that may well be overkill for me ,stage 2+ and no further :)

In which case the RS kit( Brembo if I remember) is both effective and good value.

That or the RS3....there's a few threads somewhere on what you need.
I'll look into them both I'd imagine there both over 1k though where as yellow racing are 850

You won't find much,if anything below that level in terms of big brake kits.

Yeah looks like I could be going for the yellow racing when the time comes ,think I'll stick some strada pads in for now, I no you said you were going gorge rear big brakes but yellow racing do read sets various disk size 4/6 pot
