Be gentle with me I'm new to this so don't know if I'm posting correctly, feel free to question me.
I have an 09 A3 8p face-lift and have fitted an android head unit in it. The DAB signal off the windscreen antenna is terrible, I found post on here:

My issue is the spare soldered points don't look like the screen aerial connects to it, so If I solder my DAB wire to the existing am/fm solder point will it cause an issue and does it matter what solder point/colour of wire i connect to.

I've just installed an aftermarket head unit in my A3 8P Sportback 2007 and looking to add DAB, but not really keen on the front window antennas or installing one on the roof. Is it possible to replace the existing rear window antenna with a DAB module? Perhaps from an A4 or similar This guy...
