What have you done to your 8V today?

I changed my oil today using an oil extractor and then fannied about with vcds to correct the distance and time to the next inspection as the tech who did the first one either couldn't be bothered or forgot to reset it.

Chuck the Snowfoam in the bin. If you've got it coated then a normal rinse wash and dry will suffice. Save you some time as well.

struggled washing the car today, the ceramic/hydrophobic coating wouldn't allow water or snow foam to stick! :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy: 3rd world problems right here!!
What type of lance and also what snow foam are you using and also how diluted is it, for example a quality lance with say Valet pro Ph neutral will stick like glue to any ceramic coating, also don't dilute the stuff

yer foam on the ground tells the story...its very thin looking, when l i fire on me snow foam there's about 1/2 inch depth of snow foam all around the car mate, try a little shampoo in yer mix as well that should help.

I'm after getting one, but have seen some get delivered with wrong dimensions etc. - which one did you get?

As DJAlix says, Plasti-Dip is an option, though it could scratch and start to peel with constant use. I think you're spot on with Sand > Prime > Paint!

I think springs are a must now you have these beauties?!
Those tyres look gorgeous but be careful in the wet! Or mist...!
Yeah the next expenditure will be the grille and Bilstein B14.

And when I came to the end of my riding days I was a "Special K" rider. It had to be just right. Screw riding in the wet. Driving in the wet? I really don't know how AWD handle and perform. If you can have a little fun in the wet old school, or is it strictly stick and go with these cars? Until you lose all traction which I'm told is very bad :bye:

Yeah I wasn't too sure on plastidip, plus I have the other paints etc

I will post a link up later after trying to fit it... Will make sure it fits first before you all go and buy one haha

Out of interest would you be needing to paint yours too? Or you went for light headlining?

Very smart mate.....:friends:
But someones pinched most of your tread.....:whistle2:
Im told these tyres dont last long at all. The idea was to make the KMs count. I hope.

Haha very considerate, thanks ;) I have light headlining, but I'm thinking if I get it I'll paint it for the contrast..

but I'll see how yours comes out first... :whistle2:

Like the idea of the mini ashtray. I assume an iPhone wouldn't sit in there when the lid is up?

.

What did you use to remove the air bag warning sticker, been wanting to do that for ages but been advised against it as its "welded" to the visor

Maybe 4,4S or 5S (SE) fits in before you get out the interior part:

But really, it doesn`t have a lot of space, I have a handful of candy...

Yes the sound of a tyre against a kerb is very much like a alloy being wrecked. But the relief at seeing just a scuff on the sidewall is just an enormous relief..

Why can't they just move the kerbs further back, then we wouldn't have all this aggravation? :sm4:
