Haven't had much chance (or weather) to take any good shots.. but here is a side profile
Has pretty much every option you can have aside from Mag ride and the super sport seats
Matrix LED's and the Driver assist (lane assist, radar cruise control, traffic assist etc) is absolutely brilliant - I've been doing a lot of motorway commuting during rush hour.. it's nice to be driven around by it!
I spoke to my dealer today about this issue and he said the amplifier will be removed at the factory for cars up to build week 22. Cars after week 22 will be pushed back to an estimated build week 42!!!

Week 22 coincides with the start of the MY19 build year, so that kind of makes sense, the new build year will get the fix / modification. Reading on another post, the amplifier technology that's compliant with the regulations is costly to fit.
I'm interested what they are going to do about the cars that have already been delivered with the amplifier. Will they recall them to have it disabled, technically they are illegal.
I'm getting really confused regarding my build. I had a confirmed build week of 18 and my S3 had the tech pack. I was informed on Saturday by my dealer that the tech pack has been removed due to an issue and I could either take the car without it or re-order for another one. Obviously this contradicts what you guys are saying. Who should I be speaking to at Audi to find out what's going on? My dealer just said because there was an issue with the tech pack it was automatically removed from the build and it's too late to change now. They then estimated a new S3 build week of 25 which your dealer is saying is likely to get pushed back?
It is confusing how people are being told different things, I might even call my dealer again and double check and maybe call Audi customer services too

Also not a RS3 but the same as @RS06 I have a ‘Phone Box’ equipped Audi at Emden since 12th April ‘18 with no movement and no clear information.
Since ordering in Dec ‘17 I’ve waited 10 weeks for the build to start, 2 weeks to build and QC and then 5 weeks to ship from Mexico to Germany (yep it’s a Q5). These last 2 weeks of inactivity have been frustrating (Total 19 weeks and counting).
I got an email from my dealer today asking me to sign this form. He thinks my car will get built in week 19 as planned but dealers aren’t being told until mid next week.

Unless I'm reading it wrong that letter makes no sense, the letter says that the connection to the cars external antenna feature has been disabled in the phone box. The final paragraph states re enabling of the connection and relevant communication does not apply to cars built with Audi phone box with wireless charging.

I have had my New RS4 on order since October last year. It was given build week 10 and was cleared for shipping on the 12th April. It is still sat in Eden, no phonebox, but Audi telling me its due to extra qc checks and cant give me a date! I was told that it should ship within 15 days of the release to ship date! Very frustrating and feel all your pain.

Does this sound right? as I am planning on selling my current car
I’ve gone for an ara blue saloon black edition too, good choice. 4 months seems a long time but maybe they have a summer shut down or something? Ask your dealer if they can do a spec amend on a car that they already have going through the system, if they can that might shave weeks off the wait

If you’ve got that build week, you should have it well before August. I recon beginning of July. Mine is currently waiting for a ship over to the UK. Hopefully have mine by end of May.

I believe the dealers request the delivery date and Audi try and achieve that. Has your dealer given you a build date, should be on your order confirmation. I told my dealer I need the car for the first week in June.
I’ve had a reply this morning and they’ve said my build week is 26 so end of June beginning of July. Have asked for the order number, just waiting to hear back

I thought the same but no, it's not standard with the black edition. When you select the configurator on the audi website, you would have selected the 'Design' configuration. Which automatically includes the panoramic sun roof and the red brake calipers. The same as if you had selected 'Technology', it is the non-black edition version but includes a bunch of extras (that aren't standard).
If you had just selected 'Start new configuration' and then selected 'Black Edition' as the engine option, it only comes with the following as standard:
- Black styling pack
- B&O sound system
- Privacy glass
- 5 arm wheels
I think that's all of it anyway.
YourAudi has finally decided to update itself. Now looking at an estimated build date of June 11th!

I’ve never been on here before, but a friend suggested it! I’ve had an A4 for the past 8 years but ordered a new S3 Black Edition saloon in Daytona Grey at the end of March. It has a status code of 39, which I think suggests it’s on the ship. Anyone know how accurate that is and when it’s expected in the UK and then the dealer?!

I got 39 Saturday morning and the car arrived in Grimsby over the weekend.
Status 40 'arrived in the UK' came Monday and by Thursday same week it was at the dealer in Bolton.
Your dealer needs to raise a transport order to get the car moved from the uk port

I have 2 S3's on my account and if the other car is anything to go by (Build week 18), our cars for week 21 will hopefully be in Quality Control (status 24) on the 21st May
and then off to the port a few days after!That sounds very promising, not to mention exciting!! I have an update on the My Audi page today saying it’s reached the UK. So maybe next week I get to see my pride and joy! Thanks Chris. Hope you are enjoying your new car!?

I collected mine late last August having waited almost 4 months for it, but yes, it still makes me smile each time I get in, I'm still pleased with my choice of colour, Nano Grey doesn't have many fans on here but I really like it. Most people who choose Grey go for Daytona which is classy colour.

I actually love that colour, it was a tough choice. I went with the wife’s judgement though, she loved the Daytona Grey, particularly with the black edition. So who am I to argue!!
Been rather shot down in flames when I contacted the dealer earlier though. I’ve got a long drive on the 26th May, so suggested that it would be great to have it before then. Given your experience, it didn’t seem unreasonable. However, they’ve said it could be 14 days before they get a transport order from Audi and then they’ll need 48 hours to prep it. Looks as though I’ll have to wait that little bit longer!
I’m sure it’ll be worth it, but I’m so impatient! Pictures to follow, sooner rather than later, with any luck.

Ah yes SWMBO - final say on color choice.
2 weeks from port to dealer seems unlikely to me. The dealer has to raise the transport order with the logistics company not Audi. As sure as god made little green apples the dealer will want the sale in their May figures. I'd keep pushing for the 26th.
The status has changed to 40 today, so certainly in the UK. I can but try with the dealers. I mean, do they know who i am?!!
Looks like mine has jumped straight from 'Status 21 (Panel Shop)' to 'Status 30 (In Transit From Factory)' this morning. Is this normal? Considering the actual construction date wasn't supposed to be until Monday 21st. I'm not complaining as I'd love it to come early
