I run LDPrestige alloys during winter.
Never had any issues.

Do you happen to know what was the exact name for these? I kinda like them but there are 100's on that website. There's one which is similar but not 100%. Can't find these or maybe I'm blind.
Thanks,
D
Thanks @T-1000
Now that I decided to go with these in the 18'' variant, I see these confusing numbers:
Length
8.0 inches
Dimensions
18″ inches
Entraxe
5X112
Bore
66.5
Lower Bore Rings
Yes
What are these numbers and are they ok for my S-line? It's confusing as I don't see any ET number which I know it's important. I'm asking as I want the wheels to be exactly like the OEM ones, not pushed out or any other boy-racer style.
Sorry if I'm annoying but I really don't know anything about wheels.
Cheers,
Dan
You have an S3 ?
Here are the same wheel in your fitment according to the selector.

Thanks for this. I have an A3 S-line.
These numbers are confusing me.
So, from what I read, my original wheel has a with of 7.5J. The one from your link is slightly wider an 8.0J so not sure if it's ok for me. Also, does anyone know what's the hub diameter for the A3? I don't want to spend that much plus the £50 for delivery to realise the wheels are not good for me.
Cheers!
Hi all.
I've decided to get some wheels from an uk based website as can't wait for international delivery and also I save on delivery.
I'm torn between Riva BVA and Romac Venom. What do you think, are these manufacturers ok or Chinese poo (it doesn't say where they are made).
Also, my OEM wheels are 18 7.5J ET51 whereas these are both 18 8J ET45. Is this a noticeable difference? The website says they fit to my A3 but better to double check.
Thanks.
Hi all.
I think I know what I want regarding the allow make and model. The wheels I like are 18'' 8J ET45, the website selling them say that they fit but I have doubts. Willtheifit.com says that these wheels replacing my OEM of 18'' 7.5J ET51 will make the rim stick out 12 mm more than the originals. I had a look at the car and I just worry it might be too much as it seems that there isn't much clearance left.
Does anyone have the 18'' 8J ET45 setup on their 8V? Mine is an S-line.
Thanks!
Thanks!
Is the S3 suspension similar to the S-line however?
Hi all.
One last question:
The wheels I've decided to buy are not having a symmetrical design which means they'll appear spinning in opposite directions nearside vs offside unless they are mirrored 2 and 2. I've called the seller and they aren't, all 4 are identical. In fact, I've called others too and for other similar designs and found that mostly all asymmetrical designed wheels come in one kind which means they'll have the above described effect. I mean, I'm not sure if that will bother me too much really and was wondering what's the general opinion on this.
Cheers,
Dan
