I’m going for my Config tomorrow don’t laugh but is Launch 100% out of the question at this stage I’m new to Audi.

On which Audi configurator was this made? I searched like 6 different ones and none has 3D view.

I've just been watching this video;
and when you get to 1:53 he says that the alloys have stickers on them and therefore presumably they are not diamond cut. They certainly look like stickers and also on the German model shown the graphic is slightly different to the UK version being a darker shade of grey on the right hand side of the spoke. The stickers would likely come off and you're left with a gloss black wheel which I think looks better than the matte version on the Carbon Edition.
Sorry can't do anything about the other round wheel though!

Have you ever tried peeling some stickers off though which are not easy peel ... how frustrating can that be
Can you imagine starting 1 wheel and it being a nightmare to get them off.

Having had a deposit down for over a year, you certainly deserve a launch edition if that is what you want, but good luck actually securing one.
I don't believe the launch editions are allocated just yet, so your Dealership may not even get one at all.
At least with one of the other cars you can officially order, it will be a guaranteed car.

even though we don't get the interior design pack, the configurator does show we get RS floor mats ... they look good - worth checking the pdf with a fine tooth comb once you’ve finished the config. All the pics are from left hand drive models and for example show a metal footrest. S3 shows...
They shouldn't be otherwise they're likely to come flying off whenever you get them cleaned with a jet washer! You are going to have to be pretty committed to take the chance that they can be removed without leaving a mark.No ... it is just speculation atm
& we are not sure if they are 'easy peel'

I thought they would be diamond cut too as they're the same wheel as the Estorils on my MK8R and they're definitely diamond cut. Stickers on alloys surely isn't a good combination for longevity ?

Around 23k off the top of my head . Thats the part I don't like to be honestNice spec - daytona grey does look like it goes really well with the design

I would go carbon edition Sportback but I couldn't live with that tacky boy racer rear spoiler if you could delete it it would be perfect imoRevised my order this morning from Sportback Vorsprung to:
Saloon
Carbon edition
+ comfort & sound pack
+ Daytona grey
Just not happy with round steering wheel or the graphic alloys on the vorsprung.
plus I really like the look of the carbon bits and the boot spoiler really does look fantastic - the hatch carbon wing I’m not a fan of. The saloon just looks the part IMO in carbon.
Saved a £grand in the process too lol

but they do look like stickers so as the RS sticker near the valve, probably are lacquered and they are different shades on other than UK cars..... another kick in the nethers unless the configurator just doesn't render them correctly?

Same for me mate & why I didn’t get the A45s premium because of that wing !
spoiler on saloon looks more subtle - same with cla45s though

You know although I am confident that those are diamond cut it is strange Audi calls it a graphic in the description - which means maybe they really are “stickers”
Now I put some Audi Sport stickers on my wheels after getting them refurbed (they need another refurb!) and they are very strong; they do not come off when power washed.
However if they are stickers then in theory some heat and patience might get them off and your have those Matt black wheels…

Well a smart repair company can spray them Matt black for £70 a wheel in your drive. Getting them from glossy to Matt isn’t hard nor expensive.
