Me neither I just like the look of them, makes it more of a mini RS6yep... but I don't plan on attaching a roof box, so saw no point in adding roof rails.

WTFHi all,
Been lurking for a little while now trying to guess how many years my order will take to arrive.
But somehow I got news my Vorsprung is build week 8! I only ordered the car a few weeks ago.
I sold my Golf R 7.5 three weeks ago and bought a 5k run around Golf MK6 TDI thinking I would have it for a year.
Dealer said I should get it early April, I'm in shock. I guess nobody want's white but I love the white / black effect.
Order Details :
Order date - 12/01/2022
Confirmed Build week 8
White RS3 Sportback Vorsprung with no additional extras
Added, thanks, Pls advise Colour and Saloon or Sportsback.ello ello fella's you can add me to this list, saloon vorsprung ordered sept last year had an email today saying car is 3 weeks away, got an extra £500 quid off due to the 360 camera, not a deal breaker but wouldn't have mind them!
Added, thanks, Pls advise Colour and Saloon or Sportsback.
Yep mine is now week 29 but the dealer is confident it will be sooner. My estimated build date is now week 30.
Much better as if it stays then I should get the car in August.
Of course it could move forward or backwards still. However August delivery would be 1 year from order to delivery.
Morning All, Weekly Update
InTransit: 2 Carbons (hef, HulkRS3) and 1 Vorsprung for (C....).
March Delivery: 1 x Carbon and 1 x Vorsprung. (Feb is a shorter month )
Seems Carbons are coming through slowly and the odd Vorsprung ordered very early are bring processed.
Carbon delivery timescales bears out the post from @Patrickv back in Sep27 (https://audi-sport.net/xf/threads/tracking-our-new-rs3.428354/post-3705614) indicated Standard and Carbon editions to have a delivery timescales of 17-21 weeks so far. (some comfort).
Probably the sea's too heavy and all the cargo has shifted about and bumped into each other
Seriously though Hull and Grimsby both have locks into the harbour so maybe waiting for the correct height of tide
I'm always curious about how things like this happen. Surely the ship has some sort of depth monitoring hardware to avoid these exact situations? And I'm sure it's not the first time it's been through that stretch of water? It seems the tide gets exceptionally low there, but that's a known occurrence so again, it's something that should be avoided. Don't quite get it, but good luck to everyone waiting on cars! What could possibly go wrong....

Odd how they keep saying the 'Global auto industry is affected' and yet you can order a new Tesla with around a 2 month wait from order to receiving your new car
It will be 2nd hand buddy, But nearly new with nominal mileage.......What makes you think a BMW will come any sooner than an Audi, unless you are going second hand of course

I just got the same email so safe to assume that yours is probably in the UKJust received the "in-transit" mail from Audi. Hopefully there's a delay in their process which sends them out and it was on the ship with jimbo255's

5 Vorsprungs are in Transit. Could @Mike.46 and another member may be @Dean87 advise on Colour and Saloon/Sportsback please, if its not being too intrusive.
Was advised by Audi UK, cars are being built on variant type batches. Hence the request to make some sense as its not by how early the car was ordered, more likely, what the batch requirements for the build.
There was an Audi tracker online, we could register and input our tracking number, which was shutdown last year for the public. Tracker system is only available to VAG dealers only. However, my guess is its being managed manually by Audi, due to reduced factory output and chip and other parts availability. Hence seems random when cars are being built, almost at a spreadsheet level.do you know how to track the order I have no idea, when I originally required, I was told Vorsprungs would be the first ones out as they are the "high end " models
pointless then, seeing as its in transit, never ordered a new car before they always been in stock, how long do you reckon it will take them to reach the uk I was assuming 10 days ? tempted to take delivery straight wayThere was a Audi tracker online, we could register and input our tracking number, which was shutdown last year for the public. You can get the order number from your Dealer, but at this point not much use other than information only,
