A3 35 TFSI S Tronic Black Edition with Tech Pack Daytona - what did you order? you got yours now?
Can anyone say how long before their estimated build week it became a confirmed build week?
I'm 4 weeks away from my estimated build week now and haven't heard anything to say it's been pushed back. But that could just be because I need to contact the dealer myself to find out.

I think the week you have is that plus 3 weeks for build which they will tell you it’s going through last checks . So from your build date you have a month before they say it’s in transit and on the ship. 3 days later I had email saying it’s landed and is on land. You can track delivery by working out which ship is leaving Emden and going to Grimsby , Tyne ect. That was the last message I recieved hope that helps. But be warned sometimes it can sit in Emden for a few days.
But I mean when should I know that its defi itely going to start being built in that week?
Like Audi must know ahead of time what they'll be building next week. How close to my estimated build date could they turn around and say its going to be pushed back?
As a guess working off my emails I would say around a month. My final checks was done 29th July and getting my car tomorrow.
For some reason I only got the in build email on the 15th august and tonight for the finals checks so seems very quick?
I got my in build the same day as you, however, no further updates since then. Hopefully I am not far behind you

I ordered my new A3 (30tfsi S line w/ tech pack) on 31 May through Select Car Leasing (never used them before but thought I'd give them a try) and was given an estimated delivery date of 17 September. However, as yet the most I've heard is that I have a confirmed build slot (no idea when, SCL haven't told me!) and it is still "estimated to be delivered on 17 September".
Just wondered if anyone who has more experience with Audi than me has any idea if this delivery date still seems reasonable despite my order status not updating to 'built' yet as I think for it to come in 3 weeks despite not being built yet seems way over-optimistic!?

Still no real update from my dealership. I have to say communication has been fairly shocking - nothing proactive at all. Previously communicated via email that was looking like "mid September" delivery.
I've just phoned for a update and status code is still as it was when that estimate was given on 17th August. Although I think he was just brushing me off for today and is going to call and give a update on Monday. Can't believe a built car hasn't moved status in nearly a month

The car spent almost 2 months waiting for some critical components to be sourced and for the build to be completed, which was the most frustrating part of the wait. Now my dealer is telling me the car is on its way and should hopefully arrive by the end of September, thus potentially meeting its original 6-month lead time. Will report later to confirm if this turns out to be the case.
when i got notification that my car was in transit from factory to the port it was just over five weeks until i collected it
Oh that’s not good as I’ve only had the final checks email and that was last thurs so if 5 weeks from the In transit email that’s over 6 weeks
Got my " Final Checks " email on 25 August.
Was expecting to have had " In transit " " In Port " or something further in the last 2.5 weeks. Am I expecting too much?

Okay l ordered my S3 on 16th May, l then received an email on the 8th Aug saying it was being built. Then on the 25th Aug l had an email to say the final checks had all been done! Then today l received another email stating that my car is all wrapped up and in transit. Speaking to my dealer the emails that you get from Audi UK are a tad behind!
We both got the "Final Checks " email on the same day!
Good to know - I think - that Audi UK emails are a bit behind :-(
I'm going to leave it until tomorrow before I contact my dealership.
Fingers crossed we get news about collecting our cars - soon!
Further to my last message there are currently two car carriers currently at Emden, they’ll be leaving at sometime today and arriving in Grimsby on the 12th! Take a look at ship tracker:- https://www.vesselfinder.com/ports/DEEME001
Fingers crossed ours are on either of them.
My dealership should be able to update me tomorrow - if Audi UK has been somewhat slow - but, I won't be holding my breath!

Mine is finally on the way to port, ordered early May, S3 black edition tech pack pro. No emails received from Audi UK to inform of status updates.
I noticed the posts about cars coming into Grimsby. Do they split them North and South?
How does this affect Audi's?
I assummed they'd use one port for arrivals from Germany.
I'm waiting on a Q5 Sportback. Was completed at the end of August but has three ships : Mexico to US, US to Germany, Germany to UK.
All I've had is the email to say it's built so am in the dark currently.

It's now 3 weeks since my last email from Audi UK - Final Checks done.
I emailed my local Audi on Tuesday and again yesterday - to see if they had further information. I had no reply.
I phoned this morning and am now awaiting a call back.

Still 0 update on mine seems as though ordering through a 3rd party makes getting any information nigh on impossible!
In future I know to go straight through a dealer, although seems like they're not that good with information themselves..

Received this email today exactly 3 weeks after final checks email to give everyone an indication on times.
It's been 3.5 weeks since my Final Checks email.
Nothing further from Audi UK.
I popped into my local Audi for an update.
My car has arrived in the UK but will not reach the dealership this month. It will probably be 3 to 4 weeks before collection.
I'm happy now I know what's happening.
