Its an interesting choice. A brand new FL Black Edition A3 Sportback (Ascari blue paint, upgraded alloys, no tech packs) for £37,300 OTR - in 6 months ? - or a nearly new Black Edition S3 for about the same money. My local Audi dealer has a late 2023 Black Edition S3 Sportback in turbo blue (with 5k miles) for £39,960 OTR. There is, of course, the extra £2k car tax over years 2-6 to consider for the S3 (and the increased insurance), but that wouldn't be a deal breaker for most.Long story short - kept talking to them, and ended up buying a brand new black edition + Tech pack from stock which I managed to get for virtually the same money as the new S Line. Good discounts to be had all round. Must be something to do with a lack of 24 plates on the road.
I bet that was expensiveNew A3 facelift ordered today

Not really I get 15% discountI bet that was expensive
I think Audi's pricing is getting silly these days but a 15% discount wouldNot really I get 15% discount
part of my retirement package
S line . Delivery prob mid JulyI think Audi's pricing is getting silly these days but a 15% discount would
defiantly put a dent in the price .
What did you go for sport / s line / or black edition

Interesting to see how well that estimate holds. It seems like the first FL cars are already starting to come to dealers, we have some Allstreets here and the othes should follow soon. That's quick, the FL Golf hasn't landed yet though it was released earlier.S line . Delivery prob mid July
Hi just wondering is this cash discount? Or with the PCP contribution included? And are you able to share the main dealer name? ThxWas in for my service yesterday, got talking - good discounts on the new models (Approx £5k) but a six month wait... sounds like 2021 all over again. - No manual options at the moment.

Pick her up next week.
Good value for mine too.
If you want the deposit contribution but don't want the finance, take the finance and contact Audi finance to "withdraw" from the finance agreement within 14 days - you will need to settle up within 30 days of giving notice to withdraw. Don't tell the dealership you will do this - they get a kickback from Audi finance if you keep the finance going and won't be pleased not to be getting it.Generally with finance. This is from the DTD website in relation to a new FL A3:
"The discounted quotes shown include a £3,500 finance deposit contribution which is conditional upon you taking out PCP finance at 8.9% APR Representative with Audi finance.
If you do not wish to take this finance offer, we are able to get a £1,250 discount in lieu of the finance deposit contribution, meaning you will need to add £2,250 to the discounted quote shown".
Black edition with Tech Pack Pro. Hmmm, lots of pennies, even through a discount broker.
I haven't gone through the DTD registration process to confirm the £5k saving, but the list OTR price with just a paint option (£595) is quoted as £41,050.
I think that means luxury car tax, even if you could get it for approx. £36k through DTD with Audi dealer finance.
If cash, that would be about £38k?
I would pay it off within the 14 days, on Carwow 2 major dealers came back with £33-34k for "AUDI A3 SPORTBACK 35 TFSI S Tronic Black Edition Tech Pack Pro (metallic paint)", waiting to hear back if this would be the new facelift. Seems like okish deal? (~14-15% - £6k contribution)Generally with finance. This is from the DTD website in relation to a new FL A3:
