Well day one... Started the ball running hard and stripped as much as i could off in the little time i had... Got down the the crank and turned her with a socket and.... it turned!!! Now going to change all the belts and check the timing... then see what happens...

The person i bought it off said it just stopped... running totally fine and no explosion or bang or smoke... just stopped running... Even if its the engine i could just throw another one in and have some fun

So its my birthday next week and i have decided to get myself a present to get my hands dirty. Its a 2000 b5 1.8t Quattro in black with tan interior.... and i only paid $850 for it, score! So i found a car on gumtree, had a look at it and i liked it... was told that the cam belt had broken so...

At the tuners and ready to hand over many dollars....
