Hi i Had this problem on my s3, it is the oil presure warning light, my oil pick up pipe in the sump had a blockage. for what its worth id definatly take the sump off and have check it hasnt got blocked. im not a mechanic so not sure what other factors may cause the oil pressure to fail....im...

hi guys just a quick question, will a BAM code bottom end block fit into my 99 s3 engine code APY. will the head bolt to it ok and will all the APY pipes etc meet up to the BAM block? thanks in advance dom

Thanks for the reply welshy, basically iv had a load of work done to it, brand new head on top end re-build after my old head cracked, i had oil pressure warning when i picked it up from the garage so i left it there for them to sort out after a lenghty and expensive 'trial and error' process...

could be a dicky thermostat i think its a fairly simple job to change
