The injector with the sensor is what the ECU uses to dynamically adjust the injection timing, simplistically, if it is not working then there is no point of reference and the engine will use the default mechanical timing all the time, in the way it does whilst it is being started.

Sounds like your new seats don't have the heaters in them. They were optional i think, even in the Recaros. If so, you'd need to strip the old and new seats right down to get the heating mats out then move them to the new seats. Do-able, but a pain!

The manual C5 allroad has low range as an option though, and a torsen diff in the centre, plus if you press the ESP button the stability turns off and then becomes simply an electronic diff lock function! It works very well.

Genuine RS6 wheels should be the right offset, not lookie likes...You need to be careful at the front that you don't risk fouling the airbag! Even the standard allroad rims don't leave enough clearance for chains!
