Afternoon chaps, just checking in to make all is ok.
My bypass went ok, with only 1 minor complication but on the scale of things atleast i'm still alive and kicking.
It's going to a few weeks before i'm even close to being able to drive or do anything on the car but will helpout on the forum where I Can
The old bus needs an MOT on the 24th april but i'll never be upto speed by then so i.ve declared it SORN for a few months , just seems a sensible move a the moment and saves some pennies.

Glad you are back in one piece... recovery is key so you did the right thing... the car can wait.

Yep came on a bit sudden on 26th march on a dog walk, ended up being kept in overnight in cardio unit then off for double bypass, turned out to be an issue that runs through generations on my mothers side, still what can you do.

Hi Rob
Glad to hear you are alive and kicking, you had a few of us worried there as it was radio silence but you had your reasons.
The main thing, like everyone will say, is just to rest and get back on your feet at your speed and even though you will be itching to drive again let alone tinker on the old bus, more important things. Anything I can help with do let me know

Good to hear you’re on the mend Rob. Get yourself plenty of rest, the old bus will be waiting when you’re ready, no rush.

Good to hear you’re now on the mend. Recovery period will be over in no time and you’ll have time again for cars and other stuff. Good stuff Rob.

@Charlie Farley was lovely to talk to you on phone this morning Rob. You sounded amazing after your op. I know you will take things slowly while recovering from your op. Enjoy time with your feet up and let your wife run about after you for a few weeks. Speak again soon. x

Good to read and make sure you take your time recovering.
I'm sure you've done your homework online and have done a lot of background reading regarding your op etc and looking forward to reading that you're back for good, so to speak. Take care.
