1 good reason for having a catch tank on the crankcase vent to the turbo.

Be very interested to see how this setup develops! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

    Hydro engine mount.

Cheers for that, I was intending to stay with oe mounts but it may be easier (and cheaper!) to go with updated ones! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

    Hydro engine mount.

As per the title, anyone know where I can get a replacement hydro engine mount for my B7. Trying to avoid going to the stealer if possible...[emoji849] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

You think your car is clean then......maybe you should think again....

That's exactly the same cleaner I've got Rob, did my Avant a few months ago. And yes, it looked clean but the colour of the water sucked back up suggests otherwise! Such an easy job to do as well, like you say as long as you make sure to really suck the water back up it drys in no time. Sent...

    A4 brake lines.

Thanks all, ordered up a Hel kit. Cheap enough direct from them with free postage. Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

    A4 brake lines.

Awesome, thanks for that mate. I have heard good things about Hel. Also thanks for the info on sizing, I knew the S4/A4 hoses were the same fitment, but it's nice to know there's no diff in size/length. [emoji6] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

    A4 brake lines.

I'm after some braided brake lines for my B7 Avant, it's got S4 Front brakes and I've got S4 rears to go on. Firstly, can anyone recommend a make, I always used to run Goodridge, but there's also Hel now and I've come across another make called Wezmoto who are based in Exeter and will also...

End of my teather!! Battery Drain

My B7 Avant had a similar issue, when I bought it the RNS-e didn't stay on or switch on without the ignition on. I found out that the fuse was missing so I replaced it and it all worked but the battery would go dead every day or so. Pull the fuse for the constant feed to the stereo and voila...

Audi A4 2007 Engine Coil Light

That sounds rather excessive if you ask me! Dependant on what the code was it could relate to many different things from a vac leak to admittedly possible issues with the turbo and a whole host of minor things. Most TDI's I've messed with have had some oil in the pipes/intercooler,it depends on...

    Opinions on engine mounts?

I'd be interested to hear what people have to say on this as I need an engine mount for mine. I have heard that the cheaper versions will throw up errors on the car, but that this can be fixed with some vcds/obd magic! Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Bit of a build up of s##t!

One word of advice, when you do the cleaning, or replace the ASV as I did above.... Make sure you don't get distracted taking photos and leave the wiring plug off so it throws errors up when you go out for a drive the next day....[emoji44][emoji90] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Bit of a build up of s##t!

It's an easy enough job, the ASV is easy to get to without removing anything. I've pulled the clip off, but you don't need to remove it, just pull it out a bit against the stops and the hose slips out easily. The electrical connector unclips and using a T30 torx bit you can remove the three...

    B7 ASV/Manifold Flap Valve

Aha, I see. That's the same Darkside egr delete pipe I've got I think. Much appreciated for the photo, I have picked up a new VDO/Siemens ASV for very little money. Gonna have to ponder how I'm gonna proceed... Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Good stuff, cheers Carl. I'm hoping to get a chance to get it done this weekend, weather permitting.... The pipes here along with my new ultra low profile Jack, just waiting on the wire wool.[emoji19] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

    Gutted 2.0Tdi 170 back boxes......

Quick question Carl, how tightly did you pack in the glass fibre around the wire wool/tube? Lightly packed around or jammed in tight? [emoji44] Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

    B7 ASV/Manifold Flap Valve

That's interesting,I want aware that you could do without it! This is something I need to look into before I get my EGR/DPF delete done..... Did you just remove the 'flap' itself and leave the body in place or use a replacement section? Sent from my SM-G920F using Tapatalk

Audi A4 2007 Engine Coil Light

The flashing coil light came on on two short journeys one after the other, I did indeed have the P1302 error code that time. I stripped and cleaned everything after that and all was well until 2 days later when I had the flashing light again with the same code plus others relating to the EGR...
