I took out the wheel repair cover when I got my Vorsprung nearly a year ago. A couple of weeks back I had a letter saying they could no longer offer this and I would be refunded as they weren’t confident in being able to repair the wheel because of the different colours. Hadn’t used it.

Picked mine up yesterday. Very happy. Not a great picture but here it is

Collecting mine next Saturday (12th). Been very lucky by the looks of it. About 3.5 months from order to collection.

Had the same update on mine this morning.

Mine is from Marshall Coulsdon. I think I’ve just been lucky in that they were building a batch of a spec like mine now. When I ordered in Nov they were estimating late summer.

Just got confirmation that mine has now been built and is waiting to be shipped. It’s a Vorsprung saloon in kemora. Ordered end of Nov.

I'd rather not say as I know there are people on here who ordered from the same dealership well before me and are expecting cars much later. Don't want to cause problems for them.

That would apparently be until ready to collect, which with Xmas and shipping etc sounds reasonably sensible. I have no idea really as it’s seems to be a lot quicker than others are being told so I’ll just wait and see.

Following on from this, I got confirmation today from the dealer that it has started the build process and they expect to have it in March, which would be ideal. That’s a lot quicker than I was led to believe for a Vorsprung when I placed the order. Maybe things are moving faster than expected.

Got this email today. Only ordered about 3 weeks ago. Surely it’s not being built now?

I think you’re right on that. I placed an order for a Vorsprung late Nov. I enquired about buying the LE they had and was told that they couldn’t sell until around March. Apparently I have first refusal on that. I’ll likely wait for a brand new one.

Following on from this, I went into the dealership today and asked about ordering a Vorsprung with the wheels from the Carbon Black. It was a flat no.

Does anyone have any idea when we are likely to see some motor journalist reviews? I’d be keen to see a few before placing an order.

Thanks for the response. I suppose I can ask the dealer but sounds unlikely. Sorry another question...None of the colours really appeal to me that much and I can see an exclusive paint option. Is there any way of viewing what these are? Seems pretty pricey but may consider that.

New on here as thinking of buying the new RS3. Looking at the configurator I'd likely go for the Vorsprung trim. Never dealt with Audi before and wondered if it is likely that I can specify the wheels from the Carbon Black trim instead? Seems like that should be fairly simply but maybe not....
