Over the past month or so my a3 has developed a creaking noise coming from behind the drivers side wheel. It sounds like something is dry???? I hardly notice it when motorway cruising its only really noticable when th road is bumpy. Any ideas guys?

I'm wanting to change the wheels on my 2001 1.8 TQ. I was just going to go for 17in wheels so it didnt sit to high and so the ride wasnt as harsh but been looking at 18in RS4 or RS6 wheels recently. Has anybody got some pics of their 1.8 TQ on 18's with the standard suspension?

This has happened twice now in three days. When i go to start the car, it turns over fine but doesnt fire, i have to keep nudging the throttle to get it goin, and even then its a struggle, when i finally get it goin, it runs really rough for about 3 seconds then the revs jump up to around...

Should the three light symbols above the headlight switch be illuminated, ie. off, sidelights and dipped cos mine aren't, just wondered if the bulb has gone behind and if so how do you get to it?

i currently have the concert tape headunit in my a3 which is black, i've been looking to change it to the new single slot audi cd which i think is called the concert 2? but is this black and is it a straight swap for the concert? I've also been looking at the double din symphony headunit...

just connected by sony t69 changer to my audi concert stereo using a connects2 adaptor, i earthed the black wire from the connects to to the stereo where the brown connector goes on the back, the brown connector is no kinger connected. Now whenever i change track and turn the volume up and down...

just got meself a flip key, as my car didnt have one when i got it (97' Audi A3 1.6) got some isntructions off the internet so i could program the RCL part of it. doesnt seem to work though, i've replaced the batteries too any ideas??

I've heard the cd changer cable is already installed in the car, whats the connector look like, rectanguler? and where abouts is it???
