flick key programming

just got meself a flip key, as my car didnt have one when i got it (97' Audi A3 1.6)

got some isntructions off the internet so i could program the RCL part of it. doesnt seem to work though, i've replaced the batteries too

any ideas??

You'll have to get it programmed for the immobiliser... dealer job... and at a cost of about £120 I think. Have a search back, there was a fairly long thread not long ago about this.
