Royalsteeringwheels made me an offer that I think is very reasonable. The only thing I'm unsure about is that they are going to replace my original leather with the new one. I hoped they could keep and stitch the oem nappa leather which was in very good condition on a steering wheel I bought. It...
Hello everyone. I bought a flat bottom steering wheel with paddles and while I was waiting it to arrive, I got an idea to add RS look stitching to it. The stitching must be the same Lasso Brown colour to match the rest of the interior. Do you know anyone who could do this job for a reasonable price?
Did you mean the Dupli-Color Shadow Chrome Black-out? People post mixed reviews. It pilled off soon as some said. Also, it looks a little too dark and I don't know if it works on diamond cut parts.
I found the BMW M4 smoke black tint for sale but it isn't in a rattle can and they don't ship...
Hello everyone! I'm waiting for delivery of new S3 replica wheels and I got a weird idea about spaying them with dark tinted clear coat for both longevity and better, IMHO, darker look of the diamond cut surfaces. Did anyone do anything like this before? Can you recommend a good dark tinted...
I just thought what would happen if someone installed lowering springs developed for a lighter model to a heavier one? Would someone's car drop lower than if they installed the right springs?
Let's say a car had an axle load of 1065/1005 (front/rear) and someone installed springs that were...
I'm sorry to hear about your accident. As to the cost, I didn't know the price because insurance paid for the repair to a garage. I didn't see the money. But I spoke with the painter about painting other parts such as spoilers, etc. and he quoted DKK 800-1000 (£90-110) per one piece. The UK...
Exactly. I wanted a remap and I knew that the emission update could affect my ride. As this update is a requirement in my country (Denmark) and I wouldn't pass MOT if I didn't do it during 6 month after a second warning, I booked the update (to please the law) and the remap (to please myself).
I got the emissions update to my 2012 A3 1.6 TDI this morning. Can't say too much bad of the result. The engine became a little louder (more turbo, not too much of diesel knock added), but at the same time the turbo lag is almost gone or at least became lesser. But it isn't a reply to the OP...
Well, I got her painted. I cannot notice any color difference between old and new paint. For those who doesn't know that my car was damaged, it's invisible. However, the clear coat layer on the OEM paint is thicker. I see it. When I look at the new and old paint together (fender/door or...
I spoke with a painted that will paint my cat yesterday. He said he will blend into surrounding areas to avoid visible color difference. Fingers are crossed.
Did you mean, for instance, that a decent painter should spray a part of the front door like a gradient, starting thicker at the beginning (close to the fender) and making the paint fade to the end of the door?
My car is going to get new hood, left fender and bumper after an accident. The car color, Dakota Grey, is among troublesome and all paint shops warn me that I very likely will see a difference between the old and the new parts. Who knows what to do to make this difference as little as possible...
Thanks for the replies guys.
Unfortunately, the seller refused shipping the seats to Denmark. I wish him luck selling an RHD car interior in Europe.
Fortunately, there were other offers and I bought S-line half leather/alcantara seats. The seats are in good condition if to trust pictures, but...
Thanks guys. That's what I wanted to hear. Dirt and/or polish, not the leather itself.
Bookmarked Gliptone liquid leather.
EDIT: I guess I can use Gliptone on a steering wheel as well?
