Out of interest, how does the R32 compare to the 3.2 Quattro A3? I've never driven either so I don't know. I much prefer the A3 over the new golf but suspect the R32 is probably a better drive.
I just posted this point on the A38P forum but when I was looking Glasgow Audi tried to sell me a superchipped A3 less than 1 year old with remaining warranty intact. Suppose it depends on the dealer. Glasgow Audi is one of the biggest I believe though.
There wasn't a 3.2 V6 in the previous range was there? Makes me wonder how Audi is going to place a new S3.
I doubt an RS3 will rear its head anytime soon because it will possibly take sales away from the RS4. OK, one is a hatch and the other is mid-size saloon but the performance should be on...
Yep, they look sh!t. Though the hand-done ones look even worse. And while that seat is up there, what have they done to the Leon? I used to like the old Cupra but the new shape is awful.
Mine also done this just yesterday but I know my front tyres need replacing. I'm going to get them done this week.
Could have been greasy roads but this has happened in the past when my tyres were on the limit. You don't even need to be pushing it.
This also happened to my Mkiv GTI. I wasn't using screenwash and the pipe froze and burst. The water leaked out into the electrics in the boot area causing the car to constantly think the boot was being opened. The alarm was going off all the time.
Always use screenwash now, and loads of it in...
Is it not the same engine as the current 2.0T albeit with a modified turbo. Surely its been pushed pretty far already then if the current remaps are getting to this level. I would have thought that further improvements would be a lot less than those seen currently with the remaps. Maybe 30bhp...

in a nutshell;
bhp is how fast you can go
torque is how quick you get there

See this is the bit that confuses me. If BHP is just how fast you can go (top speed?) and torque is how quick you get to that speed then that would give high torque cars a quicker 0 -60, but it...
So what are the effects of each in the real world, and apologies if this has already been covered in the other posts but I'm still not 100% on it.
Take 3 cars, say they have...
1. 150bhp 250Nm
2. 200bhp 250Nm
3 150bhp 320Nm
Not real figures but an example. What would each be like?
Gearing may well have been the problem. I got DSG and its a whole lot easier shifting up on a bend.
His car may have been broken but I don't think so as it seemed plenty quick to me. He may well have been in the wrong gear and caught napping but thats his problem. I seen him weaving through...
Still feeling rather smug after my recent run-in with a WRX and its mid-life crisis owner. Came out of a long bend into a queue with me behind him. Once the cars in front had pulled over we were doing about 50. He accelerated but did not pull away from me one inch, until I backed off that is...
