I have been more than happy with stage 1 from Rtech, and as mentioned before they are thorough in making sure the car is running well beforehand, to the point where they take parts off their own car and put it on yours to test failing bits. For what they charge it is a top service.
Definatley the Ronin shape. You can get a bargin if you look around, but I was no where near brave enough to get the 4.2 or S8 - would spend as much as you paid for the car in petrol in the first month!
I Second visually looking for a vac leak and cleaning the throttle body. After cleaning the throttle body you might need to adapt it with VAG-COM as it may take a while to realise its been cleaned.
