    Split vacuum hose - part number required

    Fault code 17544 by engine management..

    Driving the car yerterday and engine management light came on and logged the two following codes: 17544 17964 Manageed to clear both but 17544 re-appeared. I think it relates to the MAF sensor. Any other possibles? Thanks.

    Thanks again for the reply MJC. How did you determine which spring to go for? Mine has a star performance remap, i was quoted gain figures from 150bhp to 200 - 205 bhp. Which colour spring do you think I should go for? Cheers:thumbsup:

    Thanks for the reply..... My car has also been remapped and I am also using the forge diverter valve. When you say higher spring pressure, is this a modification to the valve itself or is it how the valve comes as standard? as mine was just fitted as standard out of the box.

    Yeh it was working fine prior to the re-map. Its possible it could be the reader but i guess i wont know until i try another reader if I can get hold of one. If there was likely to be a serious fault I guess the car wont run smoothly? Have you had yours read following remap?

    Can fault codes be read from the diagnostics port following a remap of the ECU? I have a OBDII diagnostics reader and everytime I try and connect and attempt to read any errors it come back as "Error". It makes me wonder if the remap on the ECU has altered codes and that they are unreadble...
