Anyone know when the S4 will be released? Driving me nuts

I read a review on Top Gear earlier as well :)

    Your PCP Terms?

Just shy of 15K seems a good GFV for a car for that mileage. I'd have thought it would be more like 10?

Is there a balloon on that or is that contract rental?

    Manual v S Tronic Gearboxes

Arrange to take this for a drive at Lincoln Audi assuming you're not far away http://usedcars.m.audi.co.uk/vehicle.aspx?wflw=se_nm_ve_vi&ctr=34712&vhl=605441498&srcmdc=se_nm_re_

    Sunvisor mirrors - illuminated?

That's good as most of that is standard leaving you to spend more money on options you want :D

    Software Update

I think that's more to do with MMI. Modules themselves need to be flashed with ODIS at the dealer.

    Manual v S Tronic Gearboxes

Can Audi UK not help you find one at the closest dealership possible? Might be worth trying an A6 as a few more about - a little difference between them but engines obviously fairly similar. Only downside to going for a 3.0 TDI is you'll never go back to a 2.0 TDI again :D

    Manual v S Tronic Gearboxes

Interesting comment on the engines - I tend to find BMW squeeze a little more performance and economy in comparison to the equivalent VAG engines. Having owned a 3.0 TDI of both, the Audi V6 is more linear in its power delivery and makes a nicer noise than the straight six of the BM.

    Manual v S Tronic Gearboxes

Aren't the majority of BMs auto now as well but that is a big price difference. Just wish they would hurry up and put X-Drive on the 5 Series Touring. Would be tempted away to the dark side again I admit.

    Manual v S Tronic Gearboxes

Nail and hit spring to mind. Everyone has their own opinions which is great but I just wish Audi would give a choice on anything over 2 litres.

    Manual v S Tronic Gearboxes

To be fair you're probably right as it wasn't the longest of test drives and the car was running on fumes. I'm sure I'd get used to it with time. I think I'd be keener on a tip box from a reliability perspective.

    Manual v S Tronic Gearboxes

I must admit I'm very unsure on the auto boxes. I have a 3.0 TDI B8 with manual box and it's nice to be able to get that extra performance when you want it as much as you want it. I drove a 245bhp S-Tronic A6 Avant recently and wasn't overly that impressed. Driving at 50mph and the gearbox was...

    Courtesy Car...

I had a courtesy car from Stafford Audi 2 weeks ago...I was hoping it was going to be a B9 when they told me it was an A4 and there was one ready to go when I arrived on the forecourt but sadly it was a 65 Plate B8 Black Ed. demo....boo :(

The all-new A4; striking from every angle.

I'm warming to the Avant somewhat now but still think the saloon is fugly! Maybe it'll be a grower too or perhaps the replacement Sepang Blue will fix it rather than the yacky gold bronze colours they are promoting in.

Is this the B9 final design?

Quite a good comparison of the 3 series against the new A4 on BMWBlog...I think the 3 series is winning looks wise at the moment.... //dons tin hat

Is this the B9 final design?

Don't like that at all. Interior looks a bit odd....B8/8.5 all the way for me!

Is this the B9 final design?

I'm not all that keen on the front end and agree the mirrors look a bit pants! Prefer the B8 myself.
