IMO 1st choice - Vreds (Awesome wet & dry) 2nd choice - Toyos (Great wet Excellent dry) 3rd choice - Pirellis (Great wet & dry) Have Bridgestones on at the mo - not very impressed tbh. Tried Michelins a few times but wasn't too keen in the wet. Dunlops tried and were very good.

The 1.9 is the last bulletproof engine, I have had 4 and all were fairly regularly abused lol, no issues whatsoever, and as above they are becoming popular due to the ****e newer tdi's

B7 front end with the B6 rear.............. but B8 tops both :rock:

Try Hids-Uk on ebay, had mine from them for my B7, were in for over a year, and are now in another members motor - absolutely no errors

Definayely twist it off then if replacing twist back on, I have done this a few times

Welcome back pal, I put 2 different sets of DRL aftermarket lights on my old B7 but IMHO they were rubbish, light output was very poor, ended up putting in OEM Bi-Xenons. As for springs I went for the Eibach 50/40 split (from Damian @ DPM performance/sponsor on here), they were excellent.

The 1.9 is pretty much a bullet proof engine, great drive, I've had a few in the past and never had any issues. Pop over to the B6 section for all the info you'll need pal

235/40/18 standard or 225/40/18 very slight stretch, or as JJ says 215/40/18 for a nice stretch
