Coilovers

Does anyone know if coilovers from a A4 B6 Quattro Saloon will fit an A4 B6 Quattro Avant.?

I would have though the fronts should be identical, The rears should fit, but maybe the spring loads were different or the rear of the Avant as it's heavier and can take more weight.

I'm not too sure if they will, as I understand it. avant coilovers will fit the convertibles but nor saloons. Also, some are designed for Quattro's and non Quattro's.

As far as i know its the rear shocker tops that are different so the rear shockers wont fit but everything else will

Sorry to jump in but does anyone know any decent coilovers for an a4 quattro avant that won't break the bank?

They'll fit but the springs rates will most likely be different for your car so it may not sit right.

Thanks Damian.. Could the possibliity of it not sitting right be adjusted in the shocks (dampening) and the ride height though?

You with them being coilovers you could always just adjust to correct depending on what kit it is.
