Seen lots of your cars A3 &S3 running aftermarket airfilters closed and open,but what do you do with the sensor thats on the top of the air box? I have an A3 AGU if that makes a difference lol. With my RS2K they sold blanking plates but Im not even sure what it does so dont want to do anything until consulting those who know (more than me).

The sensor on your car is the ignition amp and should be secured safely if removing the airbox

so not to be disconnected but cable tied out of the way?? it doesnt need to be joined into the air feed in anyway?

Nah, just undo the 2 x 10mm bolts, i have just cable tied mine out the way

yeh mine is just cable tied to my induction pipe

mine hang loose. should zip tie it up at some point

some induction kits come with a little bracket thingy you can bolt it to and then bolt to your engine bay, i know that the K&N induction kit does anyway.

u really should man! vibrations kill em and they aint cheap! lol (well not if ur buying alot of em. £70 a go)
