A3 2000 brake servo vacuum pipe (1J0612041AN) - Recall?

Had a good check around my newly purchased A3 Quattro TS today.

I noticed the servo vacuum pipe has a crack in it near the nipple, i dont think it is leaking but it does need replaced.

I know the part number is 1J0612041AN as that is what is stamped on the pipe.

I cant find this part anywhere out side the USA, maybe it a LHD drive part, i dont know?

Any ideas hwere i can source this part?

Also while googling and searching for the part, i read couple of times that this part was the subject of a recall but only on cars manufactured until 1999 mine is a 2000. can anyone shed some light on that?
