Hi, not really clued up with all this stuff.

But after recently getting my mate to replace my top two chain tensioners i thought id run a quick scan with my cheapo scanner (which tends to crash every now and then) and it came up with these two faults:

Address 01: Engine (AUK) Labels: 06E-910-559-BKH.lbl
Part No SW: 8E0 910 559 Q HW: 8E0 907 559
Component: 3.2l V6 FSI 0020
Revision: --H16--- Serial number:
Coding: 010C0003180F0018
Shop #: WSC 06325 000 00000
VCID: 3B7133DF03F5
2 Faults Found:
012410 - Air Intake System: Flow too Low
P307A - 007 - Short to Ground - Intermittent
000104 - MAP/MAF <-> Throttle Position Correlation
P0068 - 007 - Short to Ground - Intermittent
Readiness: 0000 0000

Ive reset the faults for now. And will run one gain later in the week if the scanner will work. Before anyone says it i do intend to buy the RT kit when ive got £250 spare.

Anyways, question is what are the faults if anyone knows???? I assume they could be old from when the work was carried out

Thanks

  • Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70/MAF) or Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor (G71/MAP) faulty
  • Dirty throttle body.
  • Vacuum leak.
[h=4]Possible Solutions[/h]
  • Check Mass Air Flow Sensor (G70/MAF) or Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor (G71/MAP)
  • Clean Throttle Body and perform Throttle Body Alignment (TBA).
  • Check intake system for leaks and un-metered air.

looks like a simple TBA unless it was an old code

Yep you lost me mate :)
Would unplugging the two sensors near the camshaft adjusters (i think) throw these codes up? My mate unplugged them to test something to do with the ticking noise. Theyre at the back of the engine one either side as its a v6 if that helps describe them. Sorry to be so vague

no idea
id give it a few days and if they return then post up again

Long time i know, but finally got round to running another scan and came up with these faults this time:
