Strange issue noticed today.

Parked the car up on Sat night, locked it and all was good.
Went to the car yesterday to start it and see what the issue was with the exhaust. Walked off. No problem again.

Get to the car this evening and it's unlocked (pretty sure I locked it, but might not have done so i'll ignore that) and the clocks are doing the test cycle (oil, water, screenwash, brakes etc) but the door is closed.

Started the car a couple of times and turned it off and the clocks just stayed on. Disconnected battery, re connected and issue had stopped.

Came back a few hours later and the *** clocks are back on! Just disconnected the battery for the night as I can't use the car until at least Wednesday night, assuming the gasket I need turns up.

Any ideas?

Nothing I've ever heard of, do you mean the DIS was lit up?

Yeah, DIS was lit up and because the clocks are set to light up all the time, it was all lit up. Like having the key in the ignition and doing the test check via the DIS.

Have you put VCDS on it?

No, can't see that picking anything up but I might have a look tonight

I had a similar problem with the radio and aircon lights staying on, it was a dodgy fuse. Replaced the fuse and happy days.
Swap over a fuse to test. Hope this might help.
