Since I found out my cams were shot I've been in limbo deciding if I should fix, sell or break my A4 however I have decided that its body is immaculate and I love the car so set out about having it repaired.
ive found an AKN engine from a 02' Passat with very low miles that's had it's cams replaced with the updated ones already at a liveable price,
however I have a few questions.
1. Will a Passat engine fit in, it's the same orientation, engine looks identical bar the top inlet manifold pipe.
2. I understand that the pump and turbo aren't as good as my 280 BHP engine, and its just as well a he has removed these already for resale.
3. Are the injectors the same? He's offered me these for £100 the whole set but not sure if they will need changing to my AKE ones?
what other stuff will need to be removed from my engine to fit this one to my car?
