Rs4 fuel valve fitting

Hi guys. Had a go at fitting it myself by trying to take the manifold off but couldn't get the throttle body pipe off to get at the support bracket for the manifold. Haven't got any spare spanners to modify them to get between the manifold.
Anyway does anyone have any advice on fitting this or know anywhere that can fit it in the north west? I live in chester but will travel a bit.

I bent some spanners (post 14) which means you don't have to take the manifold off. Also you go from underneath not through the manifold.

once you have the old one out, put the new one in a tube or pipe and screw it in with that

Thanks for the reply. So the top tip is to get at it from underneath. Thanks for that. I'll give it another go.

You can fit it with out taking the manifold off, just need some patience and a steady hand

I did mine last night in the dark with 2 torches 2 bent spanners!! And a selection of other tools.

Took me about 1.5 hours. I had to undo most of the fuel line supports to allow enough movement, moved the DV and undone the support for it. Bit of fidgeting and smaller hands would if been a massive help lol.

So glad it's done, it's something I've been putting off due to other people's reviews on it.
