8P1 airbag help

Hi guys,

I have been doing some research this morning on the steering wheel changes and what can happen ect
Now, considering what can happen if not done properly I'd like to know how to tell if my car is single stage or dual stage.

If she's single then I'll stick with my current. If she's dual then I'll have a long think about it.

She's a 2005 a3 2.0 tdi140 hatchback (double grill/8P1) and I suspect she's single. Can anyone confirm this??

i think they are single stage bud if its a 8p1, i don't think the dual stage started till 2006, im looking to change my steering wheel as well and have had to settle for the 3 spoke sport 8p1 version rather than the newer shield type wheel
