New tyres on - bonus is rumble free braking

I had new tyres fitted yesterday, Dunlop Sport Maxx RT all round, fitted and balanced for £552 at Elite in Rainham, Essex. Very happy with that but the bonus is that with the wheels newly balanced, the slight rumble I got when braking between 50-40mph has vanished completely. So it was nothing at all to do with the drilled and grooves MTEC discs.

Incidentally, if you are in the London, Kent, Essex region, I can heartily recommend Elite. Great outfit, professional, customer-friendly and good on price.

Great tyres too. Have them on the front of mine and they are mighty fine hoops. Grip in the wet is astounding! Road noise is absolutely minimal too. Good choice.

I wouldn't say nothing at all Jeff as my rumble started after I fitted the MTECs? I'll probably try these tyres next.
