So it’s only just started happening. When I’m going dead slow and touch the brake pedal I have a clonking noise.

Looking for any advice on what I should check.

Car has just passed its mot. A couple of advisories for slight play in suspension joints but nothing I would have thought would cause that.

Any one have thoughts?

I had a similar issue on my previous a4 cab. Turned out it was the rear brake pads (mintex I think) were loose in the metal spring shims that they run in. 5mins with some pliers shaping the guides to the arms on the pads and problem fixed.

Mine did this for a while then stopped, a quiet clonk, clonk, clonk, when you pull up lightly on the brakes. Had it checked and MOT'd and nothing came up.

Usually loose brake pads. Some are not tight fitting enough but gradually quieten with wear.Try a different set if you like
