Idle diesel?...

2006 A3 Sportback 2.0 TDi BKD

After a good run in the car and then being parked up stationary, the car is ticking over and every few seconds the car slightly shakes...

Is this normal with a diesel?

I'd say this is ok. Mine does this sometime too.

Yea I get it like you say, reminds me of what my dmf did when it was going without the clunky noise to go with it
