On my last service at Audi they warned me that I had a small oil leak from my EGR valve and recommended a new one at a cost of £345 including fitting. As it was only showing as "Amber" on there report, I said no, this was last October.
I'm now due to get the car in to get it's cambelt, water pump and brake fluid change done in the next month or so but wanted to have a look at the EGR valve myself or get someone to have a look for me to have a second opinion, before I take it in so Audi tell me it now needs doing.
Obviously the cost of all these bits is probably going to cost around the £800 mark but I don't want the EGR changed if it's not needed.
Any advice or anyone local to me (Kent) who knows a thing or 2 about the 2.0TDI Common Rail engine / EGR valve?
Thanks
