HELP!! installing subwoofer-amp a4 avant

hey i really need some help. i want to install a subwoofer and a amp in my a4 avant.
first i was woundering if i can install just the sub with the existing cables from the stock sub.
and my secound question is do i have the right stuff for the instalation or do i need to buy someting more?

You have to run the power cable to the amp from the car battery
I'm not sure about the signal wires from the stock sub and if you could you would need an adapter of some sort?
Have you changed the door speakers in the front at least? as ythat is where I would start if i was going to upgrade.
Search 'subwoofer install' or ask member 'Andymac' he will know the wire diagram for the sub connection block which may help answer your question

you can use the signal wires from the original oem connector , but they are not shielded from interferance
you cannot use the power amplifier or indeed the wiring from the power amplifier as it simply isnt sufficient to run what you have

this means you or an installer will need to take apart the vehicle and run the cables down the inside and whilst doing this i would suggest you ran signal cables also as they will be shielded from interferance
