Music cut-off worked on A3 saloon (2014) without satnav MMI.

I have A3 Sportback (2014) with SD based satnav but cant seem to find setting for this...the music remains same in reverse gear. I have to manually turn down or mute.

Any one had any ideas please? Does this work on you A3 sportback?

Is it linked to having parking sensors or not?

You can change it in the MMI settings. From memory its in sound settings and the option on the far left I think. You can change the tone, volume and the radio volume whilst you're reversing. If your still struggling I'll take a few pics tomorrow morning.

Sorted guys, I changed some settings last night and it worked this morning...

But to be honest I don't know what made it worked!!! :audibash:

It's setup here... Menu/car/car systems/driver assist/parking aid/entertainment volume

Yup, I think there's a direct way to adjust it while in reverse as well - one of the soft keys perhaps, or maybe even just playing with the volume knob itself.

Have you programmed the nearside mirror to dip to the kerb as well when reverse is selected?

Mine does the mirror drop I think as part of folding mirror package.

Just turn the adjuster to left mirror setting and it does it - very helpful!

It's in the sound settings somewhere... or wherever the parking sensor settings are for tone & volume
