I posted a while ago about my 56 plate 2.0TDi 170 having lost all its power etc...that turned out to be the turbo, which I've had replaced. Long story short the car ran fine for about a week, then has developed another fault.
As I was cruising at about 50mph, there was a slight judder; not violent or anything, and not repeated, but noticeable. Now the car sounds like a tractor when I press on the gas, and there's a very distinct smell of exhaust fumes from the front end. There's no warning lights on the dash, and the car does still drive, though it isn't as quick off the mark as it should be. This happened on Thursday night, and unfortunately I haven't had chance to even call the RAC to it as I had to be somewhere sharpish for work, and I've been away all weekend. I'm going to head out to where I left it tomorrow evening, but in the meantime does anyone have any ideas?
