Spotify through AMI

You are correct i'm sure, sorry was just trying to help anyone with an older 1st or 2nd gen who came across this thread and wanted to have something similar to the newer 3rd gen models. I know that the older gen bluetooth did not support music over A2DP and just supported calls.

I may be wrong, I think the AMI is unable to play any DRM protected tracks, this counts for spotify, and people who are now using Apple music. Very frustrating, especially now that Apple has made it so appealing to start using Apple music rather than buying your songs on iTunes (and playing them on the same app might I add). You now can't play those through your car, unless using bluetooth. I guess the advantage of using apple music you have the ability to skip forward and back still.
