Driver seat noise

Hi all,

just for you to know, my S3 had a slight play in the driver seat from the first day. Sitting down the seat moves down of about half centimetre with a slight metallic noise. (Super sport seats - 3 doors)

They changed the frame once and it did not solve the problem. Now the car is at the dealer again to have the frame changed again (under warranty)

My father's Q3 has the same problem, only on driver seat!

What about yours?

Mine has an intermittent squeak when you go over bumps..... not metallic tho........but it is ****** annoying!

The trick with the old 8L seats was to spray a tiny amount of silicone dry lubricant up from the bottom of the back of the seat in the rear passenger footwell using the small gap either side where the seat back and seat base meet.

My SEAT Ibiza's drivers seat makes creaky noises round corners, it drives me mad! My Focus used to clunk, so do some of the brand new Ford vans at work, they do the exact same thing.

I hope my Audi doesn't do it, it'll drive me mad
