Engine Coolant

Hi,

Iv never has to top up my engine coolant, but the light popped up on my dash. Is there a site where I can find out the correct coolant to use for my audi?

Just be aware that the bottle itself can cause rogue dash warnings, happened to me even though the level was correct, a new bottle sorted it.

or remove the cap when it's cold and scrape the prongs off the sensor that are in the bottle.

I've only ever heard of "pink" or "blue" coolant.
Any modern car I have owned has had pink. They all have additives to prevent corrosion, etc. and aren't that different unless you are situated somewhere really cold.

pink is more of a longlife antifreeze and is in pretty much ever car now

Just get any pink antifreeze from halfords etc, if u want genuine it would Probley be qauntum antifreeze

Almost all cars use Pink now, except some new VWs/Audis.. They use G13 spec which is Purple.

As long as you use the same colour it will be fine

G12 mixes with G13 so ok to mix pink G12 with purple G13 .
