Alarm siren question

I have a4 b6 cabby, will one of these fit or are they specific to each model?

Batteries fail and leak all over the pcb. Mine did it too.

Did you get it sorted, ? As just seen in my thread you replied to, that mine could be fubar as well.

Got to replace it Dan , but no one seems to know if the later ones ( see above link ) fit ok.

I took a gamble on eBay a sail back when mine didn't work and the one I got did work and still is just make sure part numbers are the same

Did your original sounder fail completely, so all that you got when the alarm triggered was flashing indicators? I have the same with mine, no sound when it goes off, does anyone have the part number please from Audi for the cab B?

Open up your roof half way so you can get the the place where it is found .. It's found on the drivers side where your roof folds away remove a little grot and pull cover back then you should see it .. Undo it then you can get part number of it

@bats exactly mate plus when i scanned with vcds it through up alarm short to ground.
