Is there a more modern replacement available for the Audi alarm siren?
Mine didn't work, so I looked at replacing the batteries but the circuit board was ruined by the battery leaking.
Bought a second hand one and found the same issue. (Unfortunately it sat on a shelf for all if it's 30 day warranty before I tried it).
Don't want to waste another £30 to find the same issue.
I'm not actually bothered about the alarm working, but it's throwing a fault code up (no communication), which I've been told could be why VCDS isn't letting me programme a new key remote.
