Door Open display error

Guys,

ive been having issues with my Cruise control on my car and i asked for a mech to scan and test for etc, but from this was done. when my driver door is opened it is showing the passenger door as opened on the dash? any ideas? has he changed something he shouldnt have? friend of mine has vcds but he doesnt do any coding etc with it if anyone could help?
